Top loaders / Insertion packers are composed of modules from the SOMIC 424 mechatronic programme according to the customer's packaging requirements.
The SOMIC 424 EP top loader / insertion packer can be equipped with individual format tools for varying product dimensions and case models. This allows unlimited flexibility within the format range, which is why every SOMIC 424 machine is so distinctive.
Sequence of functions:
Top loader (for complete groupings)
The pre-packed products are fed into the machine individually and collated. The product groupings are inserted into the erected cases, plastic boxes or crates, layer by layer, or as an entire grouping by top loading. The robot portal module works with individual pick&place, suction or gripper tools.
Pick-and-place loader (for product layers)
The pre-packed products are fed into the machine lying flat. Individual products or product layers are inserted into the erected cases, plastic boxes or crates. The robot portal module works with individual pick&place, gripper or suction tools.
